 History: K'tandha is a Klingon who managed to merge his warrior nature and technical aptitudes into a cohesive whole. By becoming a weapons engineer, he not only earned respect as a warrior, but also the admiration of his fellow Klingons for the weapons he designed and repaired. K'tandha worked in Klingon shipyards as a weapon quality controller and aboard ships for new weapon systems shakedowns. He was sent to Starfleet's JAG office by Chancellor Martok himself, who is contemplating the creation of a similar branch in the Klingon Defense Force. K'tandha's mission was to learn the intricacies of the JAG and how it performed its function. The JAG office agreed and Cap. Izana Kex assigned K'tandha to the SIT Gamma. However, due to the delicate missions the SIT was likely to be involved, and to avoid chain of command problems, K'tandha received a Starfleet lieutenant rank.
