UNISYSTEM WRITE-UPS:
WILD CARDS
This page contains write-ups of some of the characters from the Wild Cards anthology for the Unisystem. They are based on the supers-update file, written by John A. Siminoff (with assistance from Shawn Chando, Gregg Emmel, J.C. Connors, Drew Krakowski, & Pat Migliaccio), and which has GURPS Supers 2nd Edition updates of the characters in GURPS Wild Cards. I also used Brett Slocum's WitchCraft-to-GURPS conversion rules. The Quirks listed below are imported from GURPS and, under the Unisystem, should award no points. I only left them as guiding points to the character's personality.
These are not the final versions. Some of the skill levels are a bit off (higher than I they should be) and some traits have to be created from scratch, especially where super-powers are concerned. These will be revisioned as Eden Studios releases the generic system books.
BLACK EAGLE (Earl Sanderson, Jr.)

Concept: War pilot & government agent
Type: Ace
Wild Card: Sanderson can fly at nearly 500 mph. He can also create a force
field that can make his body highly resistant to any damage, or form it into
a sharp wedge to ram things with.
Born: 1913, Harlem, NYC
Died: 1979, Paris, France
Appearance: Male, black, 1.80 m, 77 kg (5' 11", 170 lbs). While flying or
in combat he wears a black leather flyers jacket, a white silk scarf, black
leather flying helmet with goggles, and black jackboots. Underneath that he
wears a tan Air Corps Officer's fatigue with the insignia removed. He has a
beret in his pocket, and wears it, except when he is flying. His jacket has
the patch of the 332nd Fighter Group on the shoulder.

Type: Ace
Wild Card: Ray is superhumanly strong and agile. He can regenerate wounds
almost as soon as they are received, and has an innate mastery of unarmed combat.
Born: 1960, Busted Butte, Montana
Appearance: Caucasoid male, 1.78 m, 79 kg (5' 10", 165 lbs). Ray is average-looking,
with a slightly deformed face from incessant fights. He likes to wear clothes
that allow maximum flexibility in combat. He usually wears black sap gloves
and steel-toed boots when he's looking for trouble.

Wild Card: None, however Takisians naturally have mental powers. Dr. Tachyon
has telepathy, mind-control, mental shielding, and some ESP.
Born: Approximately 1910 (Earth Reckoning) on the planet Takis
Appearance: Takisian male, 1.63 m, 52 kg (5' 4", 115 lbs). DT has shoulder
length metallic red hair. His eyes are a lilac color. He has an elf-like face,
with a generous mouth, long nose, and small pointed chin. DT is a dandy who
persists in dressing in Takisian styles, which roughly equate to the early 19th
century aristocrats of Europe: Cutaway coat with tails, embroidered waist coats,
leg-hugging pants, and knee-high soft boots. He likes frilly lace on the necks
and cuffs of his clothing. He really likes hats, especially those with feathers
in them. Outdoors he likes to wear cloaks or capes rather then overcoats.

Wild Card: Golden Boy is one of the most impressive Aces. His golden forcefield
is invulnerable to physical damage and resistant to energy attacks. He also
seems to be immortal.
Born: 1924, near Paker, South Dakota
Appearance: Caucasoid male, 1.88 m, 86 kg (6' 2", 190 lbs). Braun is blond,
tall, and solidly build. He has blue eyes, big hands, and a rough sort of handsomeness
to him. Clothes look good on him. He looks no more then 25 years old.

eyes, and dark, curly hair worn collar length. He is wears old blue jeans and
sweatshirts or old T-shirts.
