Metaphysics: Essence Drain [Every turn Rogue spends touching another person
(skin contact), she drains D6(3) Essence points from him. Rogue acquires any
Metaphysics her target has. This lasts for the number of Turns she spent touching
him plus an equal amount of Turns after she lets go of him (i.e., if she touches
someone for 3 Turns, she will have his powers for those 3 Turns plus 3 more
Turns after she breaks the contact). Rogue also acquires the persons personality
traits, Mental Drawbacks and, sometimes, his memories. The degree of influence
these have on her can be measured by the difference in the amount of her Essence
and the persons absorbed Essence. If the latter is higher than the former,
Rogue will be more like the person than herself. If the absorbed Essence is
greater than twice her Essence pool, she will become a veritable carbon copy
of that person, personality-wise. If someone dies from Rogues Essence
Drain, theres a very real possibility she will develop some kind of multiple
personality disorder, as the persons personality and memories tries to
wrest control of her mind. Absorbed Essence is lost at the same rate natural
Essence is regained: Will points/hour. In Roguess case, 2 points/hour.]
Notes: Rogues Essence Drain is an extremely powerful ability which
cannot be resisted. In the comics, not even Thor was able to resist it. If the
Chronicler wishes to give targets a chance to resist, she can allow them to
make a Difficult Willpower Test with a -6 penalty.
