Summary: Back in Seattle, the PCs are attacked and captured by the
Ghosts, Tir Taingire's special forces unit. The Ghosts' leader, Speren
Silverblade, interrogates the PCs about the identity of the fixer that
hired them for the run against the McGregors. They refuse to disclose the
information, but Speren manages to get it from Plague through a Mind Probe
spell. The elfs free the PCs, who try to warn Frank Castiglione about them.
They are late, however, and find Frank dead with a bullet in his head.
In order to check Frank's cybermemory, they cut his head. On the way out,
Grunf is taken down by a sniper. Razorback and Plague escape with Frank's
head while DocWagon rescues Grunf.

duty to an entrepeneur during a shadowmeet. Werwolf argues with the entrepeneur's
security chief and if fired. Razorback is once again located and interrogated
by Speren. Somewhat confused, he admits to killing Frank and tells the
elf where he can find the fixer's head. Speren and the Ghosts take the
head from Guapoloco. Razorback is hired for the bodyguard gig after Shiva
turns the job down. Werwolf is hired as a sniper by the opposition. At
the appointed time, the entrepeneur, none other than William McGregor,
father of Eon, must exchange a mysterious orichalcum key for his son. The
meet is going well, until the Ghost arrive. In the ensuing firefight, William
and his security chief die, and Speren is seriously wounded, however the
PCs, the Ghosts and the rest of the McGregor party, including Eon, escape.
Later, the PCs find that the dead McGregor was actually a wageslave magically
disguised. The real McGreagor is alive and pissed off. After arguing in
Sperethiel with the Ghosts'deputy leader, he hands him the key and gets
to know that Razorback was one of his son's kidnapers. All the elves depart.
Notes: Grunf's, Plague's (except his gang) and Razorback's (except
Shiva) contacts are lost, because they think the shadowrunners geked Frank.
It's the equivalent of the Hung out to Dry Flaw (Shadowrun Companion,
p. XX). This adventure uses elements from the Strange Attraction
adventure (Super Tuesday module, p. 40).

might need. The bug must be in Booth's limo when he returns from a fundraising
dinner at the Jefferson Tower hotel, but no more than 12 hours before the
event. The PCs plan carefully their run and conclude that their best option
is the hotel garage. They decide to use a toy remote-controlled car, covered

the theft alarm in a car in the garage as distraction. Werwolf, also through
a remote control, lowers the ramp installed in their second car in the
garage and guides the toy car, with the bug, under the limo without the
Secret Service agents noticing. The PCs leave the hotel and catch their
flight back to Seattle. They wake up at the VisionQuest facility, owned

seem to be haunted by the ghost, they decide to find out who was Kenny.
In the SGH files, they discover that Kenny was really Kenneth Brackhaven,
one of the UCAS presidential candidates, and was hospitalized during Goblinization
Day. The group decides to sell this information to Dunkelzahn and meet
his Security Advisor, Howard Jones, in Seattleá campaign HQ. He
says he needs something more substantial. The PCs investigate more deeply,
starting with Dr. Christina Falt, the doctor who signed Kenny's medical
record. She was an intern in the SGH, but quit in 2021.

Summary: The PCs find out that Dr. Falt is now a street doc
and set an appointment with her through the fixer Walks-with-Yen. Meanwhile,
they are invited to a meeting that may prove"profitable to bothsides."
The meeting goes down at the Matchsticks and is nothing more than an atempt
at bribing the PCs into stopping their investigation. They refuse, thinking
they can get more with the results of the investigation. Later, they meet
Dr. Falt. She reveals everything she knows in exchange for a future favor.
She also gives them the name of a nurse, Karen Johanssen, "close"
to Dr. Freeman, the doctor who really treated Kenny. Next day, the PCs
go to Johanssen's home and kidnap her, after noticing that she isn't going
to cooperate. She tells them about an optic disk that contains the information
they want. Jacknife is assigned to recover the disk, while the Deathskulls
make Johanssen disappear. Jacknife breaks into the house and gets the disk.
Unfortunately, he is intercepted by Fletcher Quinn, a kick artist employed
by the same faction which tried to bribe the PCs, and dies. Werwolf and
Palgue try to save Johanssen from becoming organlegging material in order
to ask her more questions, but fail. Werwolf still tries to make Kenny
haunt Kenneth Brackhaven, but fails again. Finally, he and Plague hire
an exorcist, Vincent DeWitt, and get rid of Kenny.
