History: Leon's family was murdered by a pack of roving vampires when he was 16. He only survived by pure luck. He had biked back to town to buy some supplies for their camping trip. When he came back, the vampires had killed all his family. They wre sated so they didn't drain him to death. Instead, they left him to die alone. Leon was found by Byron Retfield – the man who would later be known as the Witch Hunter – who was hunting the vampire pack. Byron took the boy to the hospital and tracked down the sleeping place of the vampires, destroying all of them. Byron took Leon under his wing and trained him as an occult vigilante for 8 years. Eventually, they parted ways, but remained good friends. Leon assumed the Exorcist identity and in 1996, saved Milos Prazec, an old Czech alchemist, from a vengeful werewolf. Grateful for Leon's help, the old man shared a secret with him; the golguintê formula. From them on, Leon had a powerful weapon against his foes. He shared this with Byron, who later gave the formula to the SWORD. Leon's other advantage in his fight against the supernatural came in 1999, when he saved an egyptian woman, Fatima, from a kelpie in Ireland. To pay off her lifedebt, Fatima gave Leon an Ankh Tatoo which shields him from mystical attacks. |
